The course provides
- Qualitative data collection allows collecting data that is non-numeric
- Explore how decisions are made and provide us with detailed insight
8 steps of a qualitative survey
1 – Decide on a question you want to study
2 – Do a literature review
3 – Evaluate whether qualitative research is the right fit for your research questions
4 – Consider your ideal sampling size
5 – Choose a qualitative research methodology
6 – Collect your data
7 – Analyze your data
8 – Write up your research
IV. Main aim(s) of the module
The course provides reaching conclusions the data that is collected should be holistic, rich and nuanced and findings to emerge through careful analysis
Whatever method a researcher chooses for collecting qualitative data the process will generate a large amount of data

– Lecture notes
– Uma Sekaran & Roger Bougie (2016), Research Methods for Business: A Skill-Building Approach, 7th Edition, Wiley
– The installation of the free Tanagra software,
– The installation of the free PsPad software (it is a software which allows to modify text files, we need it for the use of Tanagra to adapt the path to the databases). It is easily found on the Internet.

- Attendance: 10%
- Final-exam: 90%

Plagiarism is prohibited under any circumstances. Students who commit plagiarism are subjected to failure of the class and possible dismissal from the university.
